    • - signal cables: 1360 short cables, all long cables are ready
    • - signal patch panels are ready [1]
    • - HV cables: 140 short cables (expect to receive most of them in 1-2 weeks), 36 long cables are in production
    • - HV distribution boards: have not yet been ordered (need to check multi-pin connector layout)
    • - LV cables: ordered, lead time unclear
    • - LV distribution boards: have not yet been ordered (need to finalize design, meeting with Chris and Stephanie on Monday next week)
    • - Optical fibers: received all
  • Ongoing projects -- Sasha, all
  • Testing of PMT dividers -- Sasha / Vlad
    • - Test setup is ready. About 30 dividers are ready for testing
  • Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha / Vlad / Hakob
  • Light monitoring system
    • Plastic caps have been glued to all fibers
  • Returning low-quality crystals to SICCAS -- Sasha
    • 11 crystals were wrapped and placed into the box; they are ready for shipment to SICCAS [9]

Minutes

Attendees: Igal, Phil, Arshak, Sasha, Bill, Jon, Zisis, Axel, Olga, Jane, Malte, S.T.

  • Big news: all lead glass blocks and crystals have been installed!
    • Re-torqued pressing plates, loctite applied
    • Final inspection of all installed modules: some small issues with lead glass found (chips close to PMT, glass imperfections, cookie bubbles)
      • Bad/broken PMTs being replaced
    • Cabling next: will begin in December/January
    • Survey ongoing as of meeting, looks good so far
  • Inventory of 80 uninstalled crystals: plan to make 5x5 TAC + 5x5 and 3x3 prototypes to put in PS test setup in Hall
  • 11 bad crystals packed, ready to be sent back to SICCAS
  • All signal cables from flash-ADCs to patch panel are ready
  • Short signal cables arriving (have 1360), students working on testing and labeling
  • Still missing many dark box cables
  • HV cables in production
  • LV cables have been ordered, not clear when will arrive
  • LV distribution boards: Sasha to meet with engineering group to finalize design
  • Have all optical fibers for LMS
  • Sasha met with detector support group to discuss their continuing involvement (soldering wires, testing PMT dividers, gluing fibers to crystals,...)
  • PMT divider testing to start: working on test setup (expect to go through ~30/day?)
  • LMS installation also December/January
    • FCAL group working on plexiglas for lead glass LMS
  • 3 undergraduate students expected to go to DNP meeting in Hawaii
  • Simon presented a first look at the impact of adding a GEMTRD at the exit of the solenoid
    • Also added placeholder for inner-TOF detector
