Info

Minutes

  • James fabricating new cell with straight torlon base and aluminized Kapton(plus a spare) - it will take approximately 4 weeks
  • Electronics are done, a feedthru is needed for thermometry
  • Target group fabricating an interlock box to hard wire turn off the compressor
  • Target group would like a kill button located in the counting house to turn off the compressor (Dave B to check)- should be ok
  • (2) 55 gallon Tanks have been ordered (Dave M)
  • Target group will procure the relief valves, they will be plumbed through the vent stack
  • Matt to work on vent stack design from manifold supplied by the target group
  • Compressor power is 208 3 phase - 5 wire, outlet exists on solenoid piers upstream
  • Chris has spoken with Patrizia and tentatively scheduled safety review for the 2nd week in May. Steve Christo and JP Chen are reviewers
  • Alexandre will check if we can use 5mil kapton window between target and upstream beamline (2M from target)
  • Hall D will supply a 4" gate valve and turbo for pumping on vacuum chamber and 1.5" valve on beamline
  • Target group will supply a diaphragm switch hard wired to turn turbo off
  • Josh requested no feedthrus or wired connections on the sides of the vacuum chamber for easy access and ability to remove upstream plate in situ
  • Rich/Matt working on location of turbo pump
  • Vacuum chamber bottom flange to include 4" pump port and 4 - 2 3/4" conflat ports
  • Chris to email Javier outlining responsibilities
  • Hall D will deliver assembled cart to target group. This is a priority to enable the Target group to start populating the cart to make end of June date for test and delivery
  • Rich to supply James with the latest start counter model to ensure proper geometry
  • Tim will get with Jim Dahlberg on fiducial points.
  • Hall D to supply cooling water for compressor and temp sensors, target group to supply return flow instrumentation. Need to set turn off temps for compressor
  • Need to look at required spares some day
  • Target group will buy vacuum instrumentation
