Pre-CD3 Tracking Meeting
FDC
- Validation of the current Cathode Design
- Need to carry out tracking studies to determine
if we need the cathodes or if we can go with a wire design. Answer by January 10th.
- Criteria used to decide. What is the level of photon
conversions in the outer dead area. What is the expected resolution in the edge areas of the magnetic field with regard the 200 micron resolution. Also looking to correct edge effect that Simon has seen in the fringe field. We still se a mis-assignment on the order of 15% of tracks. We don't have the full crieteria at this point in time.
