• Preparation of parts for ECAL -- Sasha

  • - HV cables: received 165 cables 1445 in total
  • - HV distribution boards: in preparation
  • - LV cables: 100 cables received, 250 cables in total
  • - LV distribution boards. Received 4 boards, performed initial cehck, need to solder connectors [2]
  • - Optical fibers and parts for the trigger/DAQ have been ordered
• Ongoing projects -- Sasha, all
  • - Testing and labeling cables, 100 short LV cables tested and labeled during this week.
  • - Prepare modules for the TAC and prototypes (using crystals with some imperfections)
    • 26 modules for TAC [3] and 35 modules [4] for the beam tests are ready
  • - Preparation of the LMS
    • - Need to glue Al flange to the optical fiber
    • - Ready for installation [5]
  • - Radiation tests of the PMT active base [6]
    • Finished tests, working on the tech note
  • - Inventory database and GUI for installed electronics

    • 127 fibers installed during this week (313 in total) [12]

    • Bundled and installed signal, HV, and LV cables on the first layer [14][15][16]
  • Still no power on the ECAL platform (expect delay with the development of the trigger/DAQ)

  • pi0gg channel simulations and analysis done with genEtaRegge and analyzed with FSRoot for the JEF FCAL2 geometry [17]
