• Need a plan to move forward
  • Invite non-GlueX collaborators?
    • T. Averett, J. P. Chen, T. Holmstrom, C. Peng and X. Zheng have expressed wishes to join.
    • Other people that may be interested: G. Cates, H. Gao, K. Griffioen, S. Kuhn, Z-E. Mezziani, M. Ripani, A. Sandorfi, K. Slifer. People from Ljubljana, Mainz, W&M?
  • Target
    • $600k. Where do the funds come from? Most likely JLab capital equipment.
    • Manpower: target group.
    • Timeline? Will determine when we can say we are ready to run.
    • Should we organise a meeting with C. Keith?
  • Helicity reporting equipment
    • $50k Hall D/Accelerator ops funds?
    • Manpower Hall D/Accelerator
    • Mark to set-up a meeting with Hall D/accelerator people. Maybe after the summer 2020 run.
  • Other special equipment (possibly) needed?
    • Beam hardener
    • Look into having an Al. radiator of RL between 2. 10^-5, 10^-4, so that we have some beam current flexibility.
    • Push accelerator into developing solutions for suppressing beam bleedthrough.
  • Tests with beam:
    • Rate check on plastic/carbon targets (Nuclear Compton, B-H)? Rational: use a well-known target thickness with well defined vertex.
    • Trigger optimisation studies?
