Notes from last week
- Discussed Gas system status, vacuum system, cell and scattering chamber and tasks to be done. The latest P&I diagram was shown and discussed. The following are the results of the discussion;
- Target group has determined the components for the gas panel and will begin procurements and fabrication of all components associated with it.
- The gas panel (fits in a 19" rack) will be attached to the Target installation cart
- Target group will order the 500 gallon H2 tank for outside and take care of piping and instrumentation on the tank
- Jim Fochtman will layout the pad requirements for the tank and purge system and submit to facilities for installation.
- Jim to develop inside pipe routing
- Jim to look at inside purge tank location (needs to be away from ignition source)
- Josh to test lakeshore controller from target group Monday for compatability with Hall D controls
- Jim to look at procuring chiller for refrig. compressor
- Jim to get with Dave on scattering chamber design.
- Tim to procure vacuum system pump cube (Pfeifer torbo cube)and gauging.
- Chris to send out list of all items needed for monitoring/controlling from PLC system
- Hall D people to discuss what needs to be shut off in hall when target vacuum goes south
- Jim to develop H2 vent details
- One target cell is made, will need to make one more
- Dave to handle pressure system design as the DA
- Look at heat shield next week
- We will have bi-weekly mtgs
- Cold head weight limit maxed out.
