Minutes
Present: Naomi (CMU), Cody, Beni, David, Lubomir (JLab)
- Cody has addressed all 3 of the FA250 issues
- removed the extra headers inserted by the 12 FPGA chips
- increased the front end buffer size x 4, this should allow a higher trigger rate
- tested multiblock mode (in single block mode the block has to be read out before another trigger can be accepted)
- Next Beni will test the fixed version. The CDC should be operable by the end of next week.
- Cody will try to find the data rate limits and look at the front end FIFO which is probably a bottleneck.
- Naomi has nearly finished testing her revised timing module which is more robust against peculiar input data, she will send this to Cody when finished, and the C++ version to David for fa125Pulse emulation.
