Cody has addressed all 3 of the FA250 issues
1. removed the extra headers inserted by the 12 FPGA chips
2. increased the front end buffer size x 4, this should allow a higher trigger rate
3. tested multiblock mode (in single block mode the block has to be read out before another trigger can be accepted)
Next Beni will test the fixed version. The CDC should be operable by the end of next week.
Cody will try to find the data rate limits (and look at the front end FIFO, which is probably a bottleneck), and then return to working on the new firmware.
Naomi has almost finished testing her revised timing module which is more robust against peculiar input data, she will send this to Cody when finished, and the C++ version to David for fa125 pulse time emulation.
