- Schedule for deliveries
- Expected from Hamamatsu Dec 6, but payment schedule needs to be clarified.
- Shipping of 30 first-article units from JLab. Units are ready, but we are trying to make sure all the paperwork is in order before shipment.
- USM Web Interface to DB
- Progress on microscope inspection station and PDE station
- Test station with camera takes pictures with good resolution
- Station 2 (PDE) measurements was reviewed
- Wooden dark box for station. Uses JLab board. LED illuminates clear fiber, which feeds a solid cylinder to mix light and output fibers (on the same side as input) provide relatively uniform light to individual cells of SiPM.
- Light uniformity times cell uniformity is about 15-20%. This test used the SiPMs with 20 V in reverse bias mode. Variations from quadrant to quadrant are major, but little variation within quadrant. [Note that both UofR and JLab see variations within a quadrant].
- John: Suggests that the sensor be rotated to check variations among quadrants
- Eugene: Asked about cross talk. The question will be passed on to those doing the work. Also noted that materials in dark box (especially reflective ones) should be painted black.
- Elton: Asked about how the absolute calibration for the light source is obtained (required for the PDE). [Note: Regina does the measurements with the Hamamatsu laser and a calibrated diode].
- high-resolution photo of MPPC
- Discussion of Readiness Review: Testing of light sensors for Bcal
- Will believes that they are "sufficiently ready" for the Readiness Review. He will review with Sergey status and confirm readiness date.
