Meeting time and location:
- 9:30 am EST (JLab time) remote only
- Zoom meeting ID: 161 050 9142 Passcode: 004965
Agenda
- Preparation of parts for FCAL2 modules -- Sasha
- Crystals:
- Received 30 crystals from CRYTUR [1]. Remaining 65 crystals will be sent to us during this and next month.
- Wrapped crystals ready for fabrication (Mindy): 26 SICCAS and 5 CRYTUR = 31
- Available for wrapping: 10 SICCAS + 28 CRYTUR = 38
- George (DSG group) preshaped 96 ESR reflectors; finished with preshaping.
- More than 200 long signal cables received, can start checking, bundling, labeling
- Procurement parts for the LMS
- Ordered 16,000 + 8,000 = 24,000 ft of optical fibers. Expect that the first batch will be delivered in May.
- Ordered 18000 of polycarbonate donats. Will be available in 3 - 4 weeks.
- Crystals:
- Module fabrication -- Sasha
- Fabricated modules: Total 1487
- Available for fabrication: 31
- First summer students (Madison and Madelyn) are in the Lab. They fabricated 26 modules using 'low quality' crystals for the stacking mockup and 'crunch' tests. We have a total of low-quality crystals for 42 test modules.
- Fabricated modules: Total 1487
- Testing of PMT dividers -- Sasha / Vlad / Arshak
- FCAL2 modules with dividers installed on the CCAL [2]
- Met with Vlad P. on Tuesday. Fine tuned the divider circuit. Checking/tuning an amplifier; Chris S. ordered some OPS.
- Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha / Arshak
- Detector installation page
- Updates from the meetings with Tim's group [3]
- Discussion of the FCAL2 installation procedures [4]
- Final mapping of low-voltage cables
- Manpower and division of tasks
- Projects for summer students
- Summer Students (2023)
- Light Monitoring System -- Arshak
- Preparation of parts for FCAL2 modules -- Sasha
- Module fabrication -- Sasha
- PMT divider updates
- Light Monitoring System -- Arshak
- Simulations/Analysis
- GUINEAPIG Workshop?
