Minutes
- James fabricating new cell with straight torlon base and aluminized Kapton(plus a spare) - parts due in this week
- Target group fabricating an interlock box to hard wire turn off the compressor - Dave Griffith
- Ok to put kill button in counting room for Target
- (2) 55 gallon Tanks are in
- Target group will procure one additional relief valve - 1 relief on each tank and 2 on gas panel
- Vent stack materials defined and on order - Hall D to assemble
- Joe Beaufeit to verify compressor power and ensure it is supplied in Hall D
- May 8th safety review - Tim to send proposal to Patrizia for agenda and pre-brief
- 5mil kapton window between target and upstream beamline is acceptable
- 4" gate valve (on order) and turbo for pumping on vacuum chamber and 1.5" valve on beamline (both in house) supplied by Hall D
- Target group will supply a diaphragm switch hard wired to turn turbo off
- Tim/Mark to meet with Fernando to determine start counter cabling/patch panel config.
- Vacuum chamber bottom flange to include 4" pump port and 4 - 2 3/4" conflat ports on order (Matt to check with Dave Meekins if class C ok)
- Chris sent email to Javier outlining responsibilities
- Hall D will deliver assembled cart to target group this week. It will have mounts for tanks but the target adjustment cartridges will not be available until next week
- Tim will get with Jim Dahlberg for more detail on fiducial points.
- Hall D to supply cooling water for compressor and temp sensors, target group to supply return flow instrumentation. Need to set turn off temps for compressor
- Need to look at required spares some day - Chris working
- Target group will buy vacuum instrumentation
- need to move 4" gate valve downstream and add tee for vacuum instrumentation
- James pointed out that a cover for the scattering chamber will be needed when removed from position
- Werth from the detector group is helping Dave B. with the controls
- Need to control start/stop of compressor (Werth to look at Labview setup)
- there will be a 20' long flexible gas line from the target to the vent line
- Chris to supply list of signal names to Dave by the end of the week.
- Discussion on location of controls crate and magnetic field magnitude - Tim to develop location vs. mag field layouts to help make the decision on the final location for the controls.
- Need to fit check Start counter hub to target hub next week to ensure proper mating
