The Bar boxes can retract 6.25" from the installed position
There is 1.4311" of the bar box inserted into the Optical box, including the farthest screw head. 1.2736" inserted, without counting the screw heads.
There will be a positive stop installed with the gasket flange to set the depth of the bar boxes, but the bar box frames could only allow .283" of travel past the desired installed position.
FYI... the Optical box movement has adjustment of .60" at the bottom positioners, .52" movement at the slot at the top where the box meets the frame.
