Tuesday May 27
Last 24h
- 19.0 hours ABU, 2.1 hours BANU.

- Hydra stopped running, restarted - (Hovanes)
- Very small second timing peak "on the side" - (Beni)
- Updated reference plot for PS spectrum
- Rise in photon transmission - (Alexandre)
Problems
- Shift crew needs to be regularly reminded to watch for dropping FCAL bases
- Event viewer does not open, although required to be running on checklist
- Hall D convergence extrapolation tool needs revision - Richard
- Raw mode run on Friday seems to have very few hits, trigger issue? - Lubomir
Plans
- Check the raw mode trigger, then take a new raw mode run
Monday May 26
Last 24h
- 19.5 hours ABU, 2.3 hours BANU.
Reports
- Now 6 FCAL bases in lock-up - (Hovanes)
- Noticed irregular jumps in one ion chamber - (MCC)
- Reminder to watch for locked-up FCAL bases - (Mark)
- Current oscillations continue at +/- 5nA amplitude - (Richard)
- Reminders to check trig:rate:main - mostly false positives
Problems
- Occasional DAQ hangs (live time drops suddenly to zero) resolved by stop/start of the run.
- "Save to logbook" button in Rootspy stops working occasionally, requires restart of Rootspy.
Plans
- No immediate changes foreseen, continue to run.
- Hall A plans a Moller run mid-day, expect the half-wave plate to be swapped afterward.
Sunday May 25
Last 24h
- Sasha took the beam for 2.5 hours to study trigger rates vs size of masked zone in ECAL.
- 18 hours ABU, 3.4 hours BANU including the 2.5 hours for Sasha's trigger studies (could be disputed that this is BANU).
Reports
- Slow drift seen in coherent edge energy - (Naomi)
- Study of trigger rates vs ECAL masks radius - (Sasha)
Problems
- Only minor -- watch for drift in the coherent edge
Plans
- No immediate changes foreseen, continue to run.
Saturday May 24
Last 24h
- Beam available in Hall D starting around 1:00pm.
- Completed harps scans, 10 minutes of raw data (1.2M events) with regular trigger at 200 nA.
- Resumed production around 3:00 PM.
- Total of 11 hours of ABU over last 24 hour period, 1.5 BANU mostly due to planned configuration changes, DAQ freezing.
Reports
- Solenoid Interlock Signal: Power Loss, follow-up - (Jeorg)
- 32-ns shift between fADC and TDC times in one module R39,S3
- e-beam convergence good in y, poor in x (with large anomaly in 5C11B horizontal), but good enough to run
- Noticed 5 FCAL blocks with zero HV
- Updated references for several monitoring plots - (Reinhard)
- Missing FCAL occupancy in monitoring plots restored - (Alex)
- Coherent edge allowed to drift, shift leader reminded - (Naomi)
Problems
- Couple of times data taking frozen with Live Time = 0, recovered by restarting DAQ
Plans
- Continue production
- Sasha will take < 1hr to study trigger rates vs expanded ECAL trigger masks around beam hole
Friday May 23
