- Issues
- Plans
- RF recovery, beam projected by 9pm
- Hall A switching to 5th pass and 50 uA in about 10 days
- Finish aligning diamonds. Will align 1 thin and 1 thick at Hovanes convenience.
- Access today
- Hall D
- Provakar (test area)
- Lubomir +2 (TRD)
- Tagger ~10am

Tuesday April 15
- Last 24 hours
- Ran Compton configuration for ECAL voltages
- Some trigger development work
- Started CVC HV Scan
- Shift summaries
- Reports
- TAGM bias voltages updated configs updated Microscope scalers are much smoother.
- CDC/FDC HV scan analysis Scan done last week.
- New ECAL voltages loaded
- Issues
- Beam
- Still get regular excursions on the AC
- Beam was missing the collimator on Day Shift for a period due to tuning for Hall A. Hall b also saw issues.
- Starts in arcAPathlength drift to blame "Currently the locks are keeping the beam on target ain hall D, but if it starts drifting extensively we should consider checking/adjusting pathlength both in ArcA and earlier."
- Small beam energy oscillation 1 MeV over 15 minutes. Likely a sick cavity.
- Helicity Board status
- DIRC scalers not counting?
- Beam
- Plans
- Make FCAL voltage change today
- RF recover Wednesday Day Shift
- Hall A will go to 5th pass in 2 weeks time. They are starting early and ending early to get the highest priority data done first. That means our high polarization period will come earlier than expected.
Monday April 14
- Last 3 days:
- Friday
- Access during Friday Day Shift. PLC stuffChill water hose
- Loaded Tagger production voltages from 2023 which turns off all taggers below the Microscope.
- Raised beam current to 200 nA for production.
- Saturday
- Diamond Alignment JD80-212 position XY scan position XY scan position chosen
- Started TOF HV scan. Procedure
- Sunday
- TOF HV Scan completed.

- CDC HV scan
- RF recovery Wednesday
Friday April 11
Ran BCAL+ECAL+PS trigger during Thursday Day shift. Early Swing, trigger was modified to remove BCAL prescale factor. Rate went up to 22 kHz.
Accelerator Schedule:
- Day Shift: RF recovery 8-11 am, and pass change HB->5 until Swing.
- If RF recovery goes long then pass change moves to Saturday.
- Next maintenance day, Wednesday 16 April
Reports
Shift summaries DaySwingNight ClubOwl
- FCAL trigger work begun
- LEDs for DIRC, BCAL, FCAL turned on.
- First FCAL lockup observed.
- Local RCDB server stood up.
- Weather caused early end to runs. CDC p diff alarm working.
- New energy number from Yves.
- Detector timing adjusted DIRC DIRC analysisFCAL analysis
- Correlations observed between GemTRD and tracking.
Issues
- Timing issue comparing detectors to RF time.
- Errors in helicity board data.
- Tagger field drifting.
- Start Counter hot scaler.
- Igal: Pi0 data in FCAL and ECAL being accumulated very slowly with the current trigger. Might need to wait until after the weekend.
- DAQ: remember to set DAQVERS back to coda_3.10dev from the default.
- Bad TAGM ADC channels
Thursday April 10
Ran BCAL+ECAL+PS trigger overnight. A lot of data taken but significant DAQ live time issues. The triggers are not timed in together.
Reports
Shift summaries Day shiftOwl shiftSwing shift
- BCAL+ECAL+PS trigger functional
- FCAL window number of samples increased to 100
- New Flash ADC in the PSFixed the PS issue
- Harps scans show beam focus unchanged
- New Amorphous reference
- ECAL Compton events observed
- pi0s observed in ECAL and FCAL
- Montoring enabled on DAQ start
