Minutes

Present: Elliott W, Simon T, Mark I, Dave L, Dmitry R, Beni Z, Bryan M.

File Server

Much discussion on whether we need on based on reliability, anecdotal experience in the other halls, etc. The jury is still out on this!

DAQ Tasks

Four tasks have been entered in Mantis, waiting for Graham to agree to them and assign someone to work on them. Our priority is to get the simulate raw event file done first.

Coil Test

Final leak checking is going well. With luck we may be able to begin cooldown just after the 4-Jul holiday.

Controls

Most items ordered, Hovanes is getting the test stand going in EEL 126.

IRMIS

Coil test has taken priority. When it's over we will get to this.

Event Display

Andrew B is working on implementing two-way communication between DED and a JANA process. Need ability to change reconstruction flags and get the same event again. JANA may need some minor changes to make this work well.

Jave Coda Objects

Andrew G is working steadily on this and is mostly done. Will need to find other projects for him to work on ...

Event Size

David is waiting for a bug in the EM background part of HDGeant to be fixed.

Conditions Database

Dmitry is working on getting an alpha release of the ccdb out. Elliott needs to develop requirements. General consensus is that "run" should be a table key, but previously Vardan and others argued that run could be derived from time so it doesn't need to be a table key.

FDC tests

Beni et al. are moving a chamber to EEL 126 for preliminary testing.

Electronics

Bryan reported that they are running two CTP's in two different crates, and that TID's are on their way.
