Attendees: Matt, Eric (Indiana), Elton, David, Elliott, Simon (JLab), Dan Sober (CU), Blake, Rafael, Zisis (Regina)

  1. Business Arising
    • Action Items: The Action Items list was reviewed. As far as Safet & COOP go, Elliott will meet with Dennis Skopik tomorrow to discuss details. We can most likely piggy back for parts on the TPE documents, and then add Alcove items a la RadPHi, for example. IU will provide the safety information on the cart's operations.
  2. Detector Setup/Mechanics
    • Indiana: Eric has communicated with all machine shops and work is proceeding as expected. Target dates have been posted at Hall-B Schedule. Current thinking has the shipment going via roadway trailer.
    • Regina: Crate has been ordered and will be ready next week. Mu-metal discussion is ongoing, Regina will do tests with and without shields and report next week.
  3. Hall-B Tasks:
    • Beamline/alcove: Eric has posted a draft of the Installation Procedures to the Wiki. Zisis will update it with information on the Module rotators/rockers. All work on alcove, plate & beamline is proceeding as expected.
    • Cable and trigger timing: With Richard's help progress has been made in identifying the cables (and spares) that we need to us. There are some remaining questions which Elliott and Chris will attempt to resolve by the end of this week. Also, we need to investigate the suspension of cables above the Module and have enough slack for the different positions of it.
    • DAQ/Online/Counting Room: A computer (clonxt2) and 700GB-RAID have been prepared for us. Elliott has installed CODA on it. DAQ system is pending. Elliott will continue work on the readout from BCAL and tagger crates. The data will be moved ('put') by hand to the Silo once per shift. David will work on the EPICS items. David and Simon will chase things while Elliott is on holidays.
  4. Monte Carlo:
    • Simulations done at Regina by Rafael and Blake were presented and discussed. A vertical misalignment of the beam becomes critical beyond 0.5cm from the horizontal centerline of the Module. The left minor right timing difference per cell with the 2.6mm collimator versus a 0.5mm collimator was shown and the difference is small. The gives us assurance that the extracted z-position will be under control. Blake posted his configuratino simulations and continues work on extracting calculated values from the 36 energies and times. Blake will look into the 'true' z-position versus calculated one and will work on the details of the configuration and run plan with Zisis.
  5. Any other business
    • Equipment: Elliott and Dan have indentified enough scopes and DVMs for the tests.

Action Items

  1. Alcove/beamline: Elliott, Zisis and Eric S. will work out details and communicate to H-B engineers.
  2. BPM, Veto: David and Elliott will work on making this a functioning system.
  3. Cosmics counters: Regina will provide.
  4. Mu metal foil: Zisis will order soon.
  5. PMTs & cosmics counters:: Regina will ship theirs to IU within a week for a fitting test.
  6. Tagger and Trigger: Paul Smith, Elliott, Franz Klein and Zisis will refine the trigger logic and tagger demands offline.
  7. Data storage/Silo Request: David and Zisis will deal with this offline.
  8. Online Macros/MC Data steam/MC Validation & Binning: David and Zisis will work on these offline. Zisis will provide requirements for ROOT trees.
  9. Beam Request: Elton, David and Zisis will carry this discussion offline.
  10. Safety, COOP: Elliott will investigate. IU will provide safety documentation for the cart. IU and Regina will complete the installation procedures.
  11. Run Plan: Regina will draft one within the next week.
