Summary

  • DC dE/dx determination is done and checked into svn. Confidence levels are flat for protons, pions, and kaons, in both the FDC and CDC.

  • FDC K+ dE/dx μ & σ
    • σ is dependent on amount of information: # hits USED (= 1/2 of total # hits: reject largest dE/dx hits to remove Landau tail)

Particle Overlay

  • dE/dx μ vs p for different particle types & CDC/FDC (error bar is overall σ (particles generated uniformly across θ & p))
    • 2nd plot is zoomed in version of 1st plot
    • Low momentum kaons overlap pions because they decayed: dE/dx χ2 not evaluated for kaons in this region.
