Jane from Wuhan received her visa and will be here in October; plan is to get her involved with QA (visual inspection,...) of crystals
- We have some examples of yellow crystals to show
Josh is working on procedure write-up for crystal assembly
Some assembly details need to be finalized: cookies, brazing, light guides
- V. Popov will work with us this week to do tuning of divider design (amplification factor of 24 needs to be reduced to ~3 so that we can operate tube closer to Hamamatsu's HV spec)
Manpower: Zisis can provide students, probably next year; postdoc can ramp up activity probably this year
- ITEP group has some members who could help out, but cannot come to US -- maybe to Canada?
