Preparation of parts for ECAL -- Sasha

• - long HV cables - done
• - HV distribution boards [1][2]

- 5 (12 x 4) and 5 (6 x 8) boards have been received. Received all PCB boards. Soldering wires to connectors

- Sent out request of quotes for HV boards

• - Two panels for the LV distribution boards received, need to re-connect cables (Sasha, Laveen, Vlad) [3]

Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha / Vlad / Hakob / Laveen

• Installation and testing dividers has been completed [4]

- need to arrange cables on chains - done

- need to arrange cables on cable trays - done [5]

- preparing spare cables (7 short HV, 8 signal and LV) -done

• Installation of the light distribution board of the ECAL LMS [6]
• Implementing ECAL into the GlueX DAQ [7]

- rocecal3 crate is working now [8] (initial DAQ implementation [9])

- implementing flash ADC scalers [10]

- translation table for the ECAL (finalize/check translation DB, generate xml file, import to the CCDB) - done

• Detector installation page
• Safety briefings
• Meeting with Drew Weisenberger regarding Vlad'd involvement in commissioning
• Remaining installation tasks

- Connecting cooling pipes to the ECAL fan (done by tech group)

- Installing dark room ceiling and insulation inside the room, required for cooling test (next week)

- Installing HV distribution boards, start switching the detector ON (waiting for HV boxes)

• Some optical fibers for LMS need to be fixed
• Need to install reference PMTs + alpha source for LMS
• Tech crew working on infrastructure (insulation, piping, testing chilling system)
• Sasha fixed problem with ecalroc3
• Trigger for LMS instrumented in front panel of trigger electronics
• DAQ running: online scalers, digihits
• Sasha working on commissioning plan
• Vlad to continue working part-time on FCAL-2
• Laveen continuing work on close shower separation
