Phil will give a talk at the upcoming DNP meeting to highlight all the work done by the students during the summer
Received 40 lead tungstate crystals from physics division, out of 150
60 more crystals to come
Wrapping continues, 45 to go of crystals in house
Fabricated module grand total = 1291
- 100 more modules to be assembled by the end of the year
- Have enough PMT housings for all available crystals, full set within 1-2 months
- Light guides almost complete
- Brass straps ordered, still waiting
Installation meetings: Sasha will present plans + manpower estimates
- FCAL frame under construction
- Cabling, patch panels, etc. under discussion
- Have most electronics, need to order crate trigger processors
LMS: need to check FCAL plexiglas -- will it need to be replaced?
