Chase gave an update on his work using TMVA to background suppression for the η→π0γγ channel
- Compared Boosted Decision Trees (BDT) to Fisher discriminants
  - BDT method works better
- Issue: possible over-training: adjusted several parameters to mitigate
- Looked at different combinations of input variables (e.g. elasticity, transverse momentum,...)
- Defined figure-of-merit, found optimal BDT cut value --> produces a nice peak at the η mass for simulated events!
Simon gave a brief update on his work on a generator to simulate π0π0 background
