Preparation of parts for ECAL -- Sasha
- -Expected delivery date of the ECAL HV distribution boards 11/18/2024 [1][2]
- -Meeting with Fernando and Chris regarding updating the LMS light source, a few new LEDs have been ordered
- -Four temperature sensors (RTD) were ordered. They will be installed in the ECAL divider region
- -Tim ordered two additional fans to increase the air flow in the divider region
-Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha, All
- Implementing ECAL into the GlueX DAQ [3]
- - rocecal3 crate was fixed [4] (initial DAQ implementation [5])
- - implementing flash ADC scalers [6][7]
- - translation table for the ECAL (finalize/check translation DB, generate xml file, import to the CCDB) - done [8]
- - implementing and verifying ECAL LMS trigger [9]
- - implementing and verifying the ECAL physics trigger. First event reconstructed using the GlueX software [10]
- - Start implementing VTP trigger modules. Requires modification of firmware. The trigger crates may be unavailable for 1 - 1.5 months.
- - The VTP was installed in the D2-1-TOP crate, IP address assigned, and can be booted now
- - New version of DAQ, VTP included as a DAQ component [11]

- Final inspection of optical fibers completed, techs put new Tedlar on FCAL face and will install new insulation foam
- Everything looks good on the ECAL north side according to scalers
- Still waiting for HV boxes
- Tests continue to increase LMS light output
- Fernando found brighter LEDs, will test
- Driver modified, added many more LEDS to board (5 -> 25)
- Will still use integrating sphere
- Four more temperature sensors for ECAL divider region ordered
- Two more fans ordered, to be place to left and right of existing assembly
- Laveen working on reference PMT design
- One LV channel needs to be fixed
- Documentation coming together: ECAL shift page for upcoming run, ECAL in ESAD, ePAS for general maintenance
- Zhikun developed script to create new HV config file based on Amp<->HV curve
- Will use fitted peak positions from cosmic data
- CSS for HV control ready to be tested
- Calibration plans to be discussed next meeting
