No order for more crystals likely this year -- plan is to order in fiscal year 2022
- Money found for purchasing more? Also sounds like the 25% tariff has been handled, but this leads to an effective price increase: do we need to reduce the number of crystals? Would prefer to keep the 40x40 insert as the minimum size.
Simulation/reconstruction update:
- Igal compared reconstruction of simulated events with old shower algorithm and new island algorithm and saw no difference
- Jon looked at efficiency and also saw no difference.
- S.T. will investigate further...
