Agenda

  1. Announcements
  2. Review of minutes from the last meeting
  3. Current Running (PrimeX)
  4. Calibrations and resolution
  5. Action Item to be set

Minutes

present: Simon, Mark I. Beni

  • The SC timing resolution in the current run period (PrimeX) is a factor of 3 larger than it should be.
  • This much larger timing resolution is seen when looking at the time difference between start counter and RF times. For this to work correctly a correction to the path length in the paddle has to work. The suspicion is that somewhere the calibration is not applied as intended.
  • a calibration of the current data is needed to see if this is indeed the case
  • Raw cosmic data is recorded at a regular basis to monitor the dark current/rate of the SiPMTs in the SC. The current analysis shows no significant effect or degradation regarding the dark current/rate.

Other Items

Action Items:

  • contact Werner to identify person power for calibration.
  • Joerg Reinhold committed himself to also look into the calibration efforts.
