Monitoring launches

Version Date Files per run Compared with last version
00 during each run a few percent of all data created online by RootSpy
01 shortly after each run 5 first launch
02 01/07/2022 40 various calibration updates
03 02/14/2022 5 various calibration updates
04 03/14/2022 5 various calibration updates
05 04/22/2022 40 (90271-90378), 5 (rest) various calibration updates
06 07/03/2022 2 BCAL calibrations added, photon beam endpoint energy added
07 07/27/2022 2 Photon beam endpoint energy corrected, TAGH calibrations of Compton runs added
  • Calibration check spreadsheets:
  • Location of output files:
    • Monitoring histograms, REST files, standalone files specific to some sub-detectors (one per EVIO file): /mss/halld/offline_monitoring/RunPeriod-2021-11/verXX
    • Merged histogram files (one per run): /work/halld/data_monitoring/RunPeriod-2021-11/mon_verXX/rootfiles/

Data quality issues

  • Some hardware or software issues can not be fixed by calibrations. Attention is needed during the data analysis
Subdetector Issue Runs affected Actions required
CDC TBD TBD TBD
TAGH channel 1-16 has two peaks of hits all runs TBD
TAGM channel 100 has very low occupancy all runs TBD
