*TAC run  (next week? or 3/10: HallC down for the night and probably for entire morning): 1) Energy measurement at HallC 2) Bleedthrough measurement at HallD and if HallC run low current or down 2 hours at least, Sasha will do some work on TAC run. 03/10 HallC will have some down time at least some part of morning confirmed from HallC RC(Joerg), can we do some tests on this down time?

Friday March 10

Past 24 hours

  • Production continued
  • Four hall operation until ~11 pm, then HallC down until the morning. A,B and D operational overnight.
  • Beam was trippy during the day but got better over the swing shift through mid-owl shift.
  • ABU=10.37 hr

Shift Reports

Reports

Issues

  • TPOL alarms continued
  • DAQ live time 0%, restart did not solve, Surgey had to reset gluon01 crate: solved(shift crew will be watchful if it reappears)
  • Active collimator: alarms to EPICS (Lubomir and Hovanes to communicate for TPOL card, one is in use. We should have one more somewhere)

Plans

  • Opportunistic Access by Zisis/Karthik for mini BCAL prototype
  • TAC run (next week? or 3/10: HallC down for the night and probably for entire morning)
  • Energy measurement at HallC
  • Bleedthrough measurement at HallD
  • if HallC run low current or down for 2 hours at least, Sasha will do some work on TAC run.
  • 03/10 HallC will have some down time at least some part of morning confirmed from HallC RC(Joerg), can we do some tests on this down time?
  • Sasha Positive for the morning based on HallC condition till that time.

Regular Production Cycle

  • Production (300 nA, 2h runs) with cycle:
    • 2 runs PARA (0/90)
    • 2 runs PERP (0/90)
    • 2 runs PARA (45/135)
    • 2 runs PERP (45/135)
    • 1 run AMO (use it to rejuvenate AMO reference in CBREM EPICS GUI)

Thursday March 9

Past 24 hours

  • Work on Injector(early day shift): completed, beam restored.
  • HI test(900nA) Pb and Mo foils, HI study completed at the end of day shift and nominal production conditions restored including AC gain 10^-8
  • Production resumed at swing shift with AMO radiator configuration
  • Rate Scan study by Sasha: Swing shift, raw and production mode at different currents:300nA, 350nA and 400nA
  • Production resumed with 0/90 PARA after Sasha's rate scan completion
  • Beam off due to 1L09 tripping high voltage(~1.5hr)
  • Beam (trippy) early owl shift, then better beam, then beam current was fluctuating and was under 300 nA
  • ABU=11.28 hr(till 8 am 3/9), ~2 bn production triggers till 5 am 3/9, smooth running over the night

Issues

  • TPOL alarms
  • DAQ issue this morning: live time dropped to 0%, restarting solved the issue

Plans

  • TAC run whenever opportunity comes( HallC run at small current or down)
