The pictures below show ADC amplitude and energy histograms for 55Fe data with 50/50 Ar/CO2 gas mixture (the maximum ADC amplitude for each event contributes one entry for that amplitude in the histogram; the energy spectra were obtained by integrating the event amplitude after pedestal subtraction).

These compare data taken using the old and new preamps - the "old" preamp is the original one and the "new" preamp is Preamp4, described in Table 2 row 2 of GlueX-doc-1364 and labelled 27.

Amplitude - original (left) and new (right) preamps

1900V

amplitude: old preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1900V
amplitude: new preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1900V

1950V (this was shown earlier, the y axis scale is expanded)

amplitude: old preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1950V
amplitude: new preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1950V

Energy - original (left) and new (right) preamps

1900V

energy: old preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1900V
energy: new preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1900V

1950V

energy: old preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1950V
energy: new preamp, 55Fe, 50/50 Ar/CO2, 1950V
