Present:
- FSU: Paul Eugenio, Kurt Koetz, Sasha Ostrovidov, Randall Smith
- JLab: Chuck Hutton, Mark Ito, Elton Smith, Tim Whitlatch, Beni Zihlmann
Contract
The proposal from FSU on the constuction constract has been through technical review and a report filed with JLab Procurement. The committee members were Beni, Dan Carman, Elton, Bruce Lenzer, and Mark. Eugene Chudakov was present at the review meeting. Mark has been, and will continue to, check on progress at Procurement.
PMT Purchase
The technical review committee has met and discussed proposals from vendors. A report is being prepared to send to Procurement. That should happen tomorrow.
Calibration and Alignment
Sasha has been doing some research, going through materials, doing research on what others have done for calibration. Mark suggested that we form an ad-hoc sub-committee, led by Sasha, to look at the problem.
Technical Design Report
Paul has started bringing the TOF section of the technical design report up-to-date. He remarked on the good structure of the document materials.
Mechanical Design
Chuck let us through the latest drawings for the support of the TOF modules. There has been significant progress since the last time the design was preseted. Some of the discussion:
- Kurt suggested independent support of soft steel shielding (curved metal pieces). Tim and Chuck will incorporate that.
