Notes

Mark Sascha Beni Werner Lei

kuraray contacted 1 mm square fibers, enough for one paddle clamped to a shape that can be attached to scintillator

will get scintillator by june 13

measuring with slow pipm to understand from width of pedestal, with leading edge, measureing rise time, conclude that noise is driving resolution

have not used constant fraction discriminator, easier to work with leading edge

correct for walk with software, rise time and sigma of noise

sipm's have arrived,

fernando has made pre-amps for them gains are 35 and 70 both look good measurements done with reference pmt want to do measurements ourselves

fernando on vacation, ask monday for new pre-amp

will build light guide with clear fiber

tuesday werner will be here

special electronics

30 vs 40, more space, each detector ratio of machined area to pressed area better for 30 paddle 15 mm for 40, 12 mm

drawings will be done at jlab

segmentation question from Sascha : werner motivated by aspect ratio thing
