  1. Software upgrade projects:
    • JANA2 (Nathan):
      • implement JANA2 in build_scripts, provide version.xml for general testing
      • N. will focus on the transition now
      • Use default CentOS7 container
    • CCDB 2.0 (Dmitry):
      • no updates, request update
    • Alma9 (Sean):
      • waiting for CCDB update
      • Diracxx compilation problem, Richard will combine this work with upgrading geant4
      • Provide official docker container (Alex)
      • xrootd problem with default current root, install package separately, could be solved by upgrading root
    • Geant4
      • Use newest version that was approved by Richard
      • Requires more recent compiler, C++ standard
      • Upgrade the Alma9 build first, then try to build on Centos7
    • ROOT
      • Upgrade the Alma9 build first, then try to build on Centos7
