Status of Centos7.9 container with gxshell:
- Ready, requires singularity and CVMFS
Discussion of software upgrade projects:
- JANA2: Nathan was absent
- Geant4: Compile version set with new version on Centos7.9 and test before upgrading
- ROOT: Compile version set with new version on Centos7.9 and test before upgrading
- RHEL8/Alma9
  - Alma9 notes from Sean
  - Will be tested at JLab as soon as nodes are available
  - Root tree problem observed with RHEL8 not yet tested on Alma9
- Remove python2 dependency
  - Mostly build system, few user scripts
  - MCWrapper
