Estimating event rates for commissioning running this fall:
Assume 10 GeV e- beam on incoherent radiator, 10^7 gamma/GeV at endpoint
Assume plastic target of 0.2 g/cm^2 -> 0.225 cm width
Generate events with E(gamma) = 0.15 - 9.99 GeV
Total hadronic rate: ~100 kHz (prelim.)
