The goal is to assess the beam background due to a possible halo hitting some of the material around the beam line. This will be use to check if using the PRad target for TAC runs is feasible.

Do a run at different current, no radiator, TAC in, target in whatever condition for standard TAC run (presumably EMPTY):

  • 10 min at 10nA
  • 10 min at 50nA
  • 10 min at 100nA
  • 10 min at 150nA
  • 10 min at 250nA

Repeat several times throughout Fall/Spring run periods to check stability and possible change with beam tune.
