CM's original list

from his email:

   Example:
   Offline Reconstriction:
    Full reconstruction now possible.
Tracking via Runge-Kutta fits and via Kalmann Filter.
    Calorimeter Reconstruction works.
    Global Event reconstruction works.
Areas of work: Hadronic Split offs, PID, ....

Collected Ideas

  • Full reconstruction
    • tremendous progress in detector hit-based reconstruction, starting from nothing[?] in 2005
    • previous results based on parametric Monte Carlo: MCFAST
  • Work on hadronic split off
    • usually not done until data taken and reconstruction maturing
  • MCFAST replaced with HDParSim
  • PWA analyses underway using full reconstruction
  • Event size re-evaluated
    • based on studies with GEANT Monte Carlo
