Minutes
Attendees: Igal,Bill,Tegan,Arshak,Jon,Liping,Jane,Olga,Tim B.,Sasha,S.T.
- Arshak
- - has finished cleaning up the clean room in preparation for module construction
- - Arshak and Sasha are making silicon cookies now. 36 cookies are ready, we have just started working on the production of another set.
- - started working on the LMS (tools ready to go)
- Sasha
- -had a meeting with the detector support group (DSG) and discussed pre-shaping. They may start working on this during next week (TDB).
- Another project for the DSG is wrapping crystals. Hopefully 2 people will be involved soon.
- - coordinated with Tim purchasing some equipment (vacuum chamber and pump, air flow box) to set up production of Silicon cookies at GWU.
- - loan agreement with GWU is ready. He will send it out for signatures when ordered equipment arrives to the lab
- - Eugen got permission for Olga to come to the lab. We have started discussing her visit.
- - We'll resume fabrication of modules during next week.
- -had a meeting with the detector support group (DSG) and discussed pre-shaping. They may start working on this during next week (TDB).
- Chris S. has all parts for construction of new PMT dividers using Fernando's design
- To build a few for bench testing starting maybe next week
- Tegan presented some photon gun studies focusing on the dip in efficiency at 5 degrees for FCAL2
- Still not clear what is causing the dip
- Jon reported for Azizah that there appears to be an issue (lower efficiency compared to studies by other people)with her samples of events at fixed φ=0 degrees
