Agenda
- SICCAS crystals
- Preparation for module fabrication
- COMCAL tests, TAC running, etc.
- Simulations
- GlueX/JEF PAC presentation
Minutes
Attendees: Josh, Liping, Jared, Phil, Jane, Zisis, Susan, Matt S., Sasha, Arshak, Jon, Bill B.
- We went over Liping's and Sasha's slides prepared for the PAC jeopardy presentation with Matt.
- Matt will condense these to a few (PAC guidance is 20 minutes total for GlueX/JEF/DIRC presentation)
- Emphasis should be on broadening JEF physics scope and FCAL-II upgrade updates
- How to handle the possibility that there will be less than 100 days (original JEF beam request) left when FCAL-II on the floor?
- Thought is that if we need to, we will go to back to the PAC to ask for additional beam time
- Another set of "good" crystals has been installed in the PS setup in the Hall
- Relative amplitudes show 15-20% variation, all look good
- Next: install several crystals with internal imperfections (bubbles, internal structures)
- SICCAS to finish next batch of crystals in near future -- delivery in October?
- Progress continues with PMT divider redesign -- 3 modified bases have been installed in COMCAL
- Once design finalized, plane to order enough to refurbish whole CCAL for PrimeX
- Jared working with Phil and Igal on signal PDFs for dark matter searches, may present next week?
