Reports
Issues
- Continued: TAGH major link alarm. Description by shift leader. Cannot communicate with crate, but rates are fine -> we decided to run as it is (monitoring TAGH scalars with stripcharts) and have a look latter.
Plans
- Beam off all day for maintenance day
- Hall in controlled access
- Solenoid current to be lowered because of cryowork. Tim seems to be doing this from home as we speak.
- Requested survey of tagger hall for access to reset TAGH crate
- When beam restored run harp scans
- Production on Pb target.
- Next pass change (4->3) for Hall C will be Tuesday. They will be down for 6h-8h Monday to install their aerogel. Monday is auspicious for a TAC run.
Friday August 12
Past 24 hours
- Beam off Thu 630 am - ?? pm for maintenance day
- ~ 9 am access to tagger hall by Beni to reset TAGH HV crate; OK now
- ramped down solenoid for cry work (Tim)
- resume prodcution data Friday 3:18 am
Shift Reports
Reports
- Beni reset the TAGH HV crate; it's communicating again ([1])
- Malte changed 2 FCAL bases ([2], [3])
- The filter material (Molecular Sieve) Assy. for the Cryomech cold compressor in Hall-D has been completed by target group
- Tim also reports that compressor swap is complete; not sure whether that refers to the target group's work?
- Beam delivary after maintenance day delayed until ??? due to a leak in magnet LCW hose in NL.
Issues
Plans
- Continue with prodcution data on Pb through the weekend.
- Plan for TAC run on Monday, when Hall C installs their aerogel.
Monday August 15
Plan for Monday: Hall C will turn off beam at 7 am. Access to hall at 7 am to move target to empty position. Sasha will try to make it in by 7:30 am to start TAC measurement.
Friday: Day through Owl
- at 7:45 am meeting Hall B complained about bleedthrough from C; optimizing the machine led to considerable downtime during the day.
- at 12 pm MCC starts tuning
- Otherwise running on Pb target (30 nA)
