- Preparation for mass production of FCAL2 modules -- Sasha
- DSG has preshaped about 300 ESR foils. Started wrapping crystals with the ESR and Tedlar (first 10 modules wrapped)
- Loan agreement with the GWU was submitted for signatures. Two fixtures for silicon cookies were ordered. Olga is planning to come to Jlab on March 21
- Chris continues brazing brass strap assemblies
- Bobby has started working on honing soft iron PMT housing (quite a few mu-metal cylinders don't fit into PMT housings)
- Igal is cutting Tedlar, Kapton, and ESR foils
- Module fabrication -- Sasha
- Light Monitoring System
- COMCAL tests, TAC running, etc.
- Data analysis
- Simulations
Minutes
Attendees: Sasha,Susan,Zisis,Phil,Arshak,Igal,Bill,Jon,Olga,Azizah,Jane
- Preparation for module fabrication and fabrication itself continues
- Received support from 2 members of detector support group: ESR shaping and module wrapping
- Grand total as of meeting was 144 fabricated modules
- Will soon need to move crystals and fabrication area to a different building
- Some discussion of testing the modules, including using beam in upcoming CPP/PrimEx runs
- Build 5x5 stack?
- Arshak working on LMS
- Contacted Carl Zorn regarding using his setup for checking transmission of light through plexiglas sheet -- equipment not working yet
- Igal described student project 5 for dark matter searches
- Azizah showed photon gun reconstruction efficiency as a function of φ
- Holes at 0, 180 degrees probably due to gap between crystals
