DAQ Status
Graham gave an overview of recent progress in the DAQ group. See his talk for numerous details.
- EMU prototype done, now being tested.
- Uses Java and C (native methods).
- EMU<->EMU communications tested, easily saturates GB Ethernet bandwidth with low CPU usage.
- Estimate need seven DAQ staff members to complete CODA3, have five now. Two more approved but not funded.
- Completion dates will slip if staff members not hired.
Collaboration Meeting Agenda
Agenda include talks on electronics by Fernando, trigger by Dave D, and DAQ/controls by Elliott (given by Dave L, as Elliott will be out of town).
Fiber Test Stand
Beni reported he is taking data with no problems. Dark box materials still have not arrived. It takes 5-6 hours to test one fiber.
Trigger Status
Dave D noted that the CTP and SD are coming along, the TI prototype is working. Expect contracts for boards by the end of FY 08.
