- Combined support for magnet and absorber
- possible moving plan https://www.aerogo.com/products/air-caster-rigging-system/
- Power supply status - On order, due March 2025
- Magnet update (Josh/Stephanie)
- Can we use less expensive resin? What is the actual expected radiation levels at coils now?
- Copper cooling update - media:CPS Absorber cooling 8 offset holes.pdf media:CPS Absorber cooling 8 offset holes_2.pdf
- Perform Brazing test

- DeGauss test summer 2024
Minutes
- Reviewed minutes from last meeting
- Translation from NX to Fluka were largely unsuccessful
- Need to give x, y and z coordinates of shielding around the absorber to Pavel to rerun Fluka model (Keith H.)
- Get Pavel magnet dimensions to rerun Fluka (Stephanie)
- Discussed use of air casters to move the CPS assy around during installation and moving after commissioning
- About $35K to procure system
- It will give us much ore flexibility during assembly
- Need to rent a portable compressor (200 SCFM) with 2" air lines
- seemed to be acceptable plan, we will pursue this further
- Concerns with radioactive dust (contamination)
- Get with ES&H/RADCON to discuss mitigations
- Will see if anyone else at the lab has used this or owns a system - no go
- Discussed Project Gant chart being developed for the entire KLONG project -
- will send a preliminary out soon (Tim)
- Will include schedule and manpower needs
- Keith H. will most likely have less time in the near future to work on KLONG
- Brazing test planned for absorber
- 8" Z length 1/2 of the absorber
- three 3/8" supply and return per half
- tubes brazed into section with no water exposed joints inside shielding
