Summary0000364: Eliminate innumerable DNS requests on gluon01
DescriptionPaul found about 100 Hz of DNS requests from a process on gluon01 concerning halldmpod3. Hovanes thinks they are due to SNMP, probably one DNS request per SNMP operation.

If SNMP is the culprit possible solutions include hard-coding the ip address so no DNS request is needed, or figuring out how to make the SNMP driver cache the ip address.
