Monday November 15

  1. Last 72h:
    • recorded 6.2B triggers on diamond and 140M on AMO (starting 17:30 on Friday)
    • after the colimator scan (Fri 13:30-16:30) restored old quad settings and added 10% in transmission due to position optimization
    • writing on tape stopped Saturday morning (disks can take up to 3 days running)
    • higher than normal trip rate Saturday/Sunday - a cavity can't be re-tuned - access to fix it at 9:00
    • the only big downtime - 3h last night
    • HV trips last night

    • expect no beam 9-10(:30) (RF working the cavitiy) then possibly some beam during tuning

Friday November 12

    • improved convergence: before and after
    • ... but the transmission went down by ~15% [7], [8]
    • ccdb for 9000+ runs [9]
    • TAGH timing offset changed [10]
    • restoring communications with FCAL bases [11]
  2. Issues:
    • bad f250 in TAGH [12] - no longer an issue (Sasha power-cycled the crate)
    • transmission - Hovanes will do AC scan when the beam is back after 10am - profiler doesn't lock has to be fixed at that time, as well
  3. Plan:
    • Down starting at 10am: for 1+ hours (Hall A changes to 4 passes) - FCAL items will be surveyed
    • Continue production at 150nA on diamond
  4. Analysis update

Thursday November 11

    • Down till 3:30pm:
      • 10 FCAL bases replaced [13]
      • CDC/FDC? gas mix alarm [14]
    • Harp scan [15]
    • Recorded 800M+ events with diamond/amo (LHe4 target)
    • lock on AC disabled this morning [16]
  2. Issues:
    • bad f250 in TAGH [17]
  3. Plan:
    • Continue production at 150nA on diamond w/o AMO (next AMO run Nov 14)
    • nudge the coherent peak every time when changing 0/90 to 45/125 and PERP to PARA
    • Expect 1+ hours down when Hall A changes to 4 passes - not clear when
