Sunday June 19

1. Last 24h:
   • TOF trigger included in data stream. Total rate 60kHz, 400 Mpbs, ~97% live time. CTOF prescale factor 5
   • Beam position is unstable
   • Smooth running overnight. Coherent peak shape and energy looks good.
2. Reports
   • From PD-RC 8:45 meeting.
3. Issues
   • Beam position is unstable
   • DAQ live time dropped twice. [1][2]
   • 24 tagger channels off.

   • Flux optimization/Act .Col. calibration
   • RF recovery Tuesday
   • Accelerator maintenance day Thursday
5. Commissioning steps temporarily postponed:
   • PS and TAGH HV scans
   • Bleed-through test: measure bleed-through with A slit as usual and A slit completely closed to see whether using B slit would help.

Saturday June 18

1. Last 24h:
   • Live time now being written to epics archiver.
   • Downstream beam pipe was moved. Opportunistic.
   • Tagger NMR lost lock
   • Sasha addeed TOF to triggerRates were very high. Pre-scale by 2 and thresholds raised but timing not complete yet.
   • Hovanes attempted AC scan but beam was not locking
   • Ran quasi production for NPP and maybe CPP.
2. Reports
   • From PD-RC 8:45 meeting.
     • Generally everyone is somewhat unhappy. :-(
   • CPP dEdx issues. CDC is likely fine. Its gain and hit efficiency (hits found/hits measured) are normal. But tracking is missing the start counter, & the target isn't in the usual spot.

Friday June 17

1. Last 24h:
   • Tagger voltage alarms
     • Nick changed card and slot again. Same issue. He set the max voltage to 1100 V so an overvoltage is less serious. The next step is to change the crate which would take a shift and need 2 people.
     • Hovanes turned counters off
   • Beam returned at 11 pm.
   • Harp scans performed [3][4][5]
   • Beam envelope looks good Accelerator have asked us to put these projections in the elog in future.
   • No CH edge observed. Hovanes helped to get diamond aligned overnight. [6]
   • Ran quasi production for NPP. Pressure change CDC alarm twice.

     • Hall C not getting high current, more work is needed
     • Hall B will need a spin dance
   • Low rates in TOF [7] and low current in CDC [8]

Thursday June 16

1. Last 24h:
   • No beam since last meeting
   • Still getting tagger voltage alarms (should we just turn those counters off?)

     • Beam will be gone until Swing Shift at least

   • High trigger rate in CTOF
     • MWPC #6 window cover removed. If successful, great. Otherwise, attempt to move helium bag downstream.
