Wednesday June 22

1. Last 24h:
   • Relatively good beam overnight.
   • CTOF trigger should be aligned now
   • DIRC barbox alarm. Work done on sensor to prevent alarms. More alarms overnight . DIRC bar box pressure alarms disabled
   • Tagger NMR lost comm again
   • 2 FCAL bases changed
   • Tagger HV crate replaced to hopefully solve issues with 24 tagger channel causing problems.
   • F1 TDC replaced in tagger. It is version 33 of firmware while all the rest are version 32. This is not a problem, ver 33 has 2 more diagnostic registers (these could be useful if there are event building issues one day but we can just update then if so.) Apparently has not solved DAQ live time issue.
   • Helicity signal added to DAQ
   • PERP issues were due to corrupted goniometer setting Hovanes Fixed
   • Ion chambers adjusted Neutron radiation levels in the Tagger Hall by coincidence were confounding.
   • PERP orientation spectrum looked terrible. Resolved with electron beam tuning. Apparently issue was caused by running Hall D oprbit locks without Hall D beam present, leading to the beam walking off.
   • U1-10-TOP MPOD crate has problems leading to LV issues on ST and PS.

Tuesday June 21

1. Last 24h:
   • Relatively good beam.
   • DIRC barbox alarmDP fluctuation.
   • CTOF readout threshold changed in horrible cludge.Worked!
   • Worked on AC position lockMysterious behaviour
   • TAC setup was begun. Progress made but the TAC run was postponed until today.
   • Could not run in PERP Getting ion chamber trips. [1][2]
2. Reports
   • Lead frame position okay, not going to be moved again.
   • New diamond spot analysis tool available
3. Issues
   • CTOF FP trigger timing change in wrong direction
   • 24 tagger channels off. Tagger access tuesday to look at this.
4. Plans
   • RF recovery Tuesday and machine tuning for Hall C high current.
     • Change F1TDCs in Tagger that may be causing live time issues.
     • Install helicity fibers in Tagger
     • Change HV crate in tagger that is causing issues.

Monday June 20

1. Last 24h:
   • CTOF trigger time adjusted
   • TOF signal size. To compare with 400 threshold.
   • Changes to AC locks. Need to evaluate the impact. [3]
   • TAC setup work was done but ran out of time for actual TAC run. That could be done today on Swing.
   • Beam returned at 8:30 pm. Smooth production since then.
2. Reports
   • Lack of TDC hits for CTOF
   • New diamond spot analysis tool available

   • Beam position is unstable

Sunday June 19

1. Last 24h:
   • TOF trigger included in data stream. Total rate 60kHz, 400 Mpbs, ~97% live time. CTOF prescale factor 5
   • Beam profiler was inserted to study position with redundant monitors. Beam position is unstable
   • Smooth running overnight. Coherent peak shape and energy looks good.

     • Jay will look into our beam stability issues.
   • Trigger timing
   • New diamond spot analysis tool available

   • Beam position is unstable

Saturday June 18

1. Last 24h:
   • Live time now being written to epics archiver.
   • Downstream beam pipe was moved. Opportunistic.
   • Tagger NMR lost lock
   • Sasha addeed TOF to triggerRates were very high. Pre-scale by 2 and thresholds raised but timing not complete yet.
   • Hovanes attempted AC scan but beam was not locking
   • Ran quasi production for NPP and maybe CPP.
2. Reports
   • From PD-RC 8:45 meeting.
     • Generally everyone is somewhat unhappy. :-(
   • CPP dEdx issues. CDC is likely fine. Its gain and hit efficiency (hits found/hits measured) are normal. But tracking is missing the start counter, & the target isn't in the usual spot.

Friday June 17

1. Last 24h:
   • Tagger voltage alarms
     • Nick changed card and slot again. Same issue. He set the max voltage to 1100 V so an overvoltage is less serious. The next step is to change the crate which would take a shift and need 2 people.
     • Hovanes turned counters off
   • Beam returned at 11 pm.
   • Harp scans performed [7][8][9]
   • Beam envelope looks good Accelerator have asked us to put these projections in the elog in future.
   • No CH edge observed. Hovanes helped to get diamond aligned overnight. [10]
   • Ran quasi production for NPP. Pressure change CDC alarm twice.

     • Hall C not getting high current, more work is needed
     • Hall B will need a spin dance
   • Low rates in TOF [11] and low current in CDC [12]

Thursday June 16

1. Last 24h:
   • No beam since last meeting
   • Still getting tagger voltage alarms (should we just turn those counters off?)

     • Beam will be gone until Swing Shift at least

   • High trigger rate in CTOF
     • MWPC #6 window cover removed. If successful, great. Otherwise, attempt to move helium bag downstream.
