The week of Dec-07-14 started with Beam down for Maintenance Day. During this event, some activities conducted in the hall: replacing Fcal bases (Mark&Malte), work on PS test stand Sasha and Arshak installed the prototype for checking LMS, and Lubomir installed GEM trackers at PS. Sasha, Arshak and Malte did some preliminary noise level tests at FCAL Mark Stevens did walkthrough training for OPS. Tim and Eugene checked the man-lift. Tim and Sasha checked by how much FCal can be pushed back (for some tentative PrimEx systematic measurements). After beam comes back we performed Harp Scans, then started collecting data on LHe target.

Then on Friday we did a TAC ran which requires very low current 2-4nA, and empty target. After TAC run at around midnight, we started filling the target. Over the weekend we were running smoothly, without any major issues. On Monday morning we had a “Rapid Access” to replace FCAL dead bases and did some alignment on PS test setup. Then we switched to 100nA, collected ~600M events, around 17:00 we asked for another “Rapid Access” to replace bad fADC for BCAL, and change one FCAL base. Around 22:00 switched to 50nA beam current. On Tuesday around 22:00 shift crew got alarm for ComCal HVs, needed to ask for “Rapid Access” to reboot the HV power supply (Rebooted). Then at ~3:30am same issue occurred for same HV module, asked for “Rapid Access” and rebooted the crate, which fixed the issue. On Wednesday morning we asked for another “Rapid Access” to install a dummy plastic disk in downstream end of solenoid.
