This is just a start.
Detector calibrations are stored using the Calibration_Database aka CCDB.
Coordinated launches of the monitoring & calibration plugins are organized during and after each run period. New calibration values are calculated and added to the database and another set of jobs is launched. This process is repeated until the calibrations are satisfactory. At that point the data are declared ready for REST production.

Calibration software maintained by the detector groups can be found in halld_recon with varying levels of documentation stored with the plugins.
