Minutes 060815

Attendees: Eric (Indiana), Matt (Cornell), Alex, Elton, David, Elliott, Dan Sober, Simon (JLab), George, Rafael, Blake, Kathryn, Zisis (Regina)

1. Business Arising
   • Minutes from last week's meeting were not available yet and will be posted soon.
   • Logistics: Linda Ceraul is finalizing the Regina travel for August and needs firm dates for the September travel soon. Rad Worker I, ODH, Hall-B walk thorough and buddy system, and badges were discussed. We will aim to have all this done by Tuesday.
2. Detector Setup/Mechanics
   • Indiana: Everything is packed an ready to leave for JLab tomorrow.
   • Regina: The crate+module+rockers will be picked up today or tomorrow. The cosmics counters have been wrapped and they and two bases (we had shipped many spare PMTs before) will leave by FedEx tomorrow.
3. Hall-B Tasks:
   • Beamline/alcove: The platform is up but not fully ready. The second egress is not ready CLAS is back together again. Almost all electronics are in the alcove. No TPE work will affect the beamline for our tests -- the engineers are aware of this.
4. Monte Carlo:
   • Rafael will have new simulations by tomorrow to compare the distributions with full beamline elements and without.
5. Any other business
   • Run plan: Regina will work on the Setup, Calibration and Run Plan mostly during the week of August 21. A draft run plan should be available by Thu or that week, and we will schedule a meeting at JLab to discuss it before circulating it.
   • Travel Plans: Dan and Franz should add their schedules to the Wiki.
   • Monitor/keyboard/mouse: Elliott will locate a set to be used with the Cart's computer.
   • Computing: Those with laptops should go to the Help Desk to get their Mac Addresses registered.

Action Items

1. BPM, Veto: David and Elliott will work on making this a functioning system.
2. Light Leak: Elton will look for black tedlar material (or equivalent).
3. Tagger, Trigger, Cables: The trigger logic and timing details are being continously refined. The fast core cable is pending.
4. Data storage/Silo Request: David and Zisis will deal with this offline.
5. Online Macros/MC Data steam/MC Validation & Binning: David and Zisis will work on these offline. Zisis will provide requirements for ROOT trees.
6. Beam Request: Elton, David and Zisis will deal with this offline.
7. Safety, COOP: We will piggy-back on standard H-B documentation with the addition of our own equipment.
8. Monitor/keyboard/Mouse: Elliott will hunt for these.
9. Run Plan: Regina will draft this and the calibration procedure with cosmics and beam.
